Understand the Algorithm
Tip-centric notes to help creators position app content without confusing audience signals.
- 1
Build around a clear account concept. Pair similar app categories on one account (example: ambience tools + handpan app) instead of random mixes that blur audience identity.
- 2
Mixed apps can still work if the creative format is consistent. A humor-driven account can cover many tools as long as tone and niche stay coherent.
- 3
Videos do not need to look like direct ads. You can do stories, jokes, POVs, or demos. Rule: never oversell and never misrepresent what the app does.
- 4
For talking formats, hook matters most in the first 3 seconds. If the opening is weak, retention usually drops before the value is shown.
- 5
When starting a new account, avoid publishing more than 3 videos on day one. Increase volume progressively; too many posts too fast can look spammy to platform systems.
